Stephen Ball is a Chartered IT Professional and Embarcadero MVP who led development teams for over 15 years within the UK, Europe and beyond, working with a range of blue-chip companies including Hilton, American Express, Fitness First, Virgin Active;

Stephen originally spent 6 years working at Embarcadero, covering a number of roles, including Senior Technical Pre-sales Engineer, Associate Product Manager for the award winning InterBase, and Senior Product Marketing Manager, when he launched IoT boot camps and major academic programs.

He was then lured to a Global role at Nokia for two years, where he defined the companies IoT services strategy for network planning, including furthering the usage of AI within Telco Networks, before returning to the Idera group as World Wide Pre-sales Director for Embarcadero in 2019.

Stephen is a regular white paper author and developer conference speaker, mainly covering EMEA. He also authors another blog on the Embarcadero Blogs.
